Access and Participation: Transition

Transitions

The Transition Programme for Supporting Students from Underrepresented Backgrounds at the University of Suffolk is designed to bridge the gap and address the unique challenges faced by students from diverse and underrepresented communities. Through personalised guidance, success coaching, tailored academic support, and access to relevant resources, we aim to provide an enriching and empowering experience that allows these students to succeed in their studies and ultimately achieve their academic aspirations. Our programme focuses on fostering a sense of belonging, instilling confidence, and cultivating a growth mindset among our students. We are dedicated to promoting inclusivity, celebrating diversity, and ensuring that every student feels heard, valued, and supported on their educational journey. By fostering a strong community and providing a safe and nurturing environment, we aim to facilitate a smooth transition into higher education, support academic progress, and enable successful completion of degrees, laying the foundation for a brighter and more promising future.
